From 8pm-1am, Ches Smith / Travis LaPlante / Faangface / Orange Luna Temple/Drake / Henry / Scheible Trio will be performing to close out this killer day!1pm-8pm The North East Ohio Synth Meet!Synthesizer lovers from all over are bringing their prize units out to set up and play. Both synth newbies and pros will be able to take part and explore hands-on synthesis w/ names like Pittsburgh Modular and a range of modular and non-modular synthesizers. Bring your controllers and synths to play and demo! Don’t forget headphones or small speakers.Dont have any synths? No problem! Touring to support his recent album Heart Protector.Faangface (Josh Novak of XXX Super Arcade, Griefhound) is an Akron native who explores eclectic multi-instumentalism and genre melting sounds that mix both acoustics, electronics, and spoken word poetry. A CDr and cassette are due out in the late spring.Orange Luna Temple is the Cleveland based skronk/drone/punkjazz trio led by Tom Orange (of Smiley Orange Beveridge, Freedom Jazz Collective, and Vengeance Space Collective).Drake / Henry / Scheible Trio are Cleveland three piece free jazz of electronics, saxophone, and percussion.
